Montgomery, Alabama – Auctioneer Nathan Johnson was recently accepted into Air Force Training School and is now stationed at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. Air Force Recruiting Service Officials considered 1,139 applications for this opportunity. A total of 114 men and women from across America earned an opportunity to become Air Force leaders following their selection for an officer’s commission.
For the past five years, Nathan and his father Rod have been partners in Johnson Auctioneering, based out of Cannon Falls, Minnesota where they specialize in benefit auctions. Rod will continue operating the auction business, but said he will definitely miss working with Nathan.
Nathan’s two older brothers are also serving in the military. His oldest brother, Army Major Jesse Johnson has seen tours of duty in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq and will soon be assigned to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Another brother, Army Captain Bobby Johnson, who spent a year in Iraq, is now stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.
